THE LAZY VILLAGE BOY AND THE MAGIC GIFT
Once upon a time, in a quaint little village nestled between rolling green hills, there lived a boy named Tomas. Tomas was known throughout the village as the laziest boy anyone had ever seen. While other children worked hard in the fields or helped their parents with chores, Tomas preferred to nap in the sun or daydream by the river.

One fine morning, as Tomas lay stretched out on a grassy knoll, an old woman with a crooked back and a cloak as dark as midnight appeared before him. She was a mysterious figure, known in village tales as the Enchanted Weaver. Tomas barely glanced at her, mumbling a lazy greeting before drifting back to sleep.
The Enchanted Weaver studied the boy with a knowing smile. She could see that beneath his laziness lay a heart yearning for something more, though he was too idle to realize it. With a wave of her gnarled hand, she conjured a small, shimmering pouch and set it gently at Tomas’s side.
As the pouch glowed softly in the sunlight, Tomas’s curiosity was finally piqued. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, noticing the pouch for the first time. “What’s this?” he wondered aloud. As he opened it, he found it filled with golden seeds that sparkled like stars.
The Enchanted Weaver’s voice, though gentle, carried a magical weight. “These are no ordinary seeds. Plant them in the soil and tend to them with care. They hold the power to change your life, but only if you truly work for it.”
Tomas stared at the seeds, feeling a strange mixture of excitement and reluctance. The thought of doing work was not appealing, but the allure of the golden seeds was too strong to ignore. He decided to give it a try, if only to see what might come of it.
He planted the seeds in a small, neglected corner of his family’s garden. Every day, despite his grumbling and longing for more naps, Tomas watered the seeds and pulled weeds. Slowly but surely, tiny green shoots began to emerge from the soil. Tomas found himself growing more interested in the little garden he had created. He began to notice the beauty in the process and even started to enjoy his daily work.
As the weeks went by, the plants grew tall and strong, their golden flowers blooming with a brilliance that dazzled the entire village. Tomas’s garden became the talk of the town. The once lazy boy found himself at the center of attention, and he realized he had created something truly special.
One day, as Tomas admired his flourishing garden, the Enchanted Weaver returned. She smiled warmly at Tomas and said, “You have shown that with effort and care, even the smallest seed can grow into something magnificent. The magic was in you all along. Now, you have learned the value of hard work and the joy it can bring.”
From that day on, Tomas was no longer known as the lazy village boy. He had transformed into a hardworking and respected member of his community. His garden continued to thrive, not just as a source of beauty, but as a reminder of the magical gift that had taught him the true worth of diligence and dedication.
And so, the village prospered, and Tomas lived happily ever after, always remembering the lesson of the magical gift that had changed his life.
