VeryDarkMan Raises Concern Over Alleged Killing of Innocent Nigerians by Soldiers

Many Nigerians still remember the pain and fear caused by the #EndSARS protests, a period marked by violence and the loss of innocent lives. Sadly, there are growing concerns that another crisis may be building — but this time, it is not directed at the police. Instead, attention is turning toward the Nigerian Army.

A video currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter) features a popular social media influencer, VeryDarkMan, speaking out about what he describes as an alarming increase in cases where soldiers allegedly kill innocent Nigerian citizens.

In the video, VeryDarkMan refers to two separate incidents.

The first reportedly occurred on December 10 in Nasarawa State, where soldiers allegedly opened fire on innocent women. The second incident is said to have happened on January 10 in Ekpoma, Edo State, where civilians were also reportedly killed.

According to the influencer, these incidents reflect a troubling pattern that should not be ignored. He called on Nigerians and the government to pay attention and demand accountability.

Many citizens share this concern and are now calling on the appropriate authorities to investigate these allegations thoroughly. The Nigerian Army is meant to protect the country and its people, not cause fear or harm to innocent civilians.

If these claims are confirmed, justice must be served, and clear steps should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening again. Transparency, accountability, and respect for human life are essential to maintaining peace and trust between the military and the public.

Nigeria cannot afford another chapter of violence against its own people. Now is the time for calm investigations, responsible leadership, and a commitment to protecting every citizen.
