He expressed worry that many counterfeit food items are now being sold, making it difficult for consumers to tell the difference between genuine and fake products.
Olusegun advised people to be very careful when buying yoghurt and other packaged foods so they do not end up purchasing fake or unsafe products. According to him, these fake items can easily deceive buyers if they are not paying close attention.
To help the public, he shared photos showing both the original Hollandia yoghurt and the fake version. He pointed out visible differences between the two, explaining that checking details such as packaging, design, and labeling can help consumers identify the authentic product. He encouraged shoppers to always examine products properly before buying to protect their health and money.
