‘Nothing Inappropriate’: Bieber’s Team Shuts Down Diddy Rumors
There’s been a wave of speculation online about Justin Bieber’s past connection with Diddy, especially when Bieber was just 15. But according to people close to Justin—then and now—there’s no truth to the rumors that anything inappropriate happened.
Sources directly involved in Justin’s life tell TMZ that Diddy never sexually or otherwise mistreated the pop star.
Some of the buzz stems from a 2011 appearance the two made on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Diddy jokingly warned Justin not to talk publicly about their time together. That clip resurfaced recently and reignited debate online.
Another moment that’s raised eyebrows came from 2009, when Diddy was filmed telling a 15-year-old Justin, “As soon as you turn 16, I’m gonna let you rock this car.” He added that their plans for the next 48 hours were a “15-year-old’s dream,” hinting at a wild time, though he never went into specifics.
But sources stress these interactions were purely performative. According to those close to Justin, he didn’t have a personal relationship with Diddy—he was actually closer to Diddy’s sons, Quincy and Justin Combs, and spent time with them socially.
A rep for Bieber released a statement to clarify his position:
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
