Osogbo, August 16, 2026 — The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the results from all 30 local government areas in the Osun State governorship election held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
According to the official collation at the state centre, the final tallies stand as follows:
- Accord Party: 511,067 votes ✅
- All Progressives Congress (APC): 444,815 votes
- African Democratic Congress (ADC): 17,180 votes
The Accord Party candidate and incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke has secured the highest number of votes, placing him ahead of APC’s Bola Oyebamiji and ADC’s Najeem Salaam.
Full official declaration of the winner by the State Returning Officer is expected shortly after the completion of formal procedures.
