VeryDarkMan Offers ₦20 Million for Video Evidence Linking Naira Marley to Assault on Late Singer Mohbad

Social commentator and activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has pledged a ₦20 million reward to anyone who can provide video evidence showing that popular singer Naira Marley either physically assaulted the late Mohbad or authorized others to assault or bully him during his lifetime.

The offer comes amid ongoing public demand for justice following the controversial death of Mohbad in September 2023. Shortly after the singer's passing, several videos emerged online in which Mohbad alleged he was assaulted and bullied by Naira Marley, his former record label boss, and Sam Larry, a close associate of Marley.

Many Nigerians, heartbroken over Mohbad’s mysterious death, have continued to demand accountability. They point to earlier videos and a petition Mohbad filed with the Nigerian police, alleging harassment by Marley and Larry.

VeryDarkMan has been a vocal advocate for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the young artist's death. In a new video posted online, he urged anyone with concrete proof—specifically video footage—of Naira Marley assaulting Mohbad or directing someone else to do so, to come forward. He stated that a cash reward of ₦20 million awaits the individual who provides such evidence.

“If you have a video showing Naira Marley beating Mohbad or authorizing anyone to beat him, come forward,” VDM said.
