Fulham eye €24m deal to secure Chukwueze permanently

Premier League side Fulham FC have stepped up efforts to secure the permanent signing of Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan, with the club reportedly ready to pay €24 million for the transfer.

According to reports, Fulham have already informed AC Milan of their intention to activate the purchase option included in Chukwueze’s loan deal, although negotiations between both clubs are still ongoing and no final agreement has been reached.

The potential deal is seen as beneficial for the Italian side, as Chukwueze is not currently part of manager Massimiliano Allegri’s long-term plans.

Chukwueze joined Fulham on loan in search of regular playing time after struggling for opportunities in Serie A. Since arriving in England, the Super Eagles star has shown flashes of quality, contributing three goals and four assists in 17 Premier League appearances.

One of his standout moments came in December when he scored twice against Manchester City in a thrilling 5-4 encounter, further highlighting his attacking potential.

Despite his impact, concerns remain over his fitness, with the 25-year-old missing several matches due to calf injuries and starting only a handful of games. Fulham are expected to weigh these factors carefully before finalising the move.

Chukwueze, who is contracted to AC Milan until 2028, could see his future resolved in the coming weeks as Fulham continue deliberations over the permanent transfer.
