In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Rotimi Amaechi, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has cautioned that President Bola Tinubu will not rig the 2027 general election, warning that any such attempt could threaten the continued existence of Nigeria.

Speaking during the one-on-one interview segment titled “The Prosperity Debate,” Amaechi said:
“2027: Tinubu will not rig this election because there may not be a Nigeria if he rigs this election. Why? Because the people are tired; they are hungry... Nobody hates Tinubu. I love Tinubu; he knows.”

Amaechi, a former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation, made the comments while discussing the state of the nation and the upcoming electoral contest.
